What's in the box

• Calathea 'Dottie' — near-black leaves with hot pink pinstripes. Our best seller. Low to medium light.
• Spider Plant 'Bonnie' — the curly spider plant. Nearly impossible to kill and throws off baby plantlets you can pot up.
• Peperomia 'Marble' — thick, waxy jade-and-cream leaves. Water it like a succulent.
• Maranta 'Red Prayer' — red-veined leaves that fold up at night like hands.
• Bird's Nest Fern 'Nidus' — glossy, wavy fronds from a central rosette. Loves a bathroom.

All five arrive in 4" nursery pots, ready to drop into a decorative pot or stay as they are. Bought separately they're $118.48.

Care at a glance

• Light: medium, indirect. None of the five want direct sun.
• Water: when the top inch of soil is dry. The Peperomia wants less than the rest.
• Difficulty: beginner to intermediate. The Calathea and Maranta like humidity; the other three are very forgiving.

Non-toxic doesn't mean edible — a cat that eats a lot of any plant can get an upset stomach. Grown and shipped by our nursery partner. If anything arrives damaged, send a photo within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace it — no return needed.
